Crafting Form and Function

We specialize in using select clear vertical grain Douglas Fir* using mortise and tenon joinery featuring true divided lites.  Combining traditional craftsmanship and current technology, we have captured the essence of a quality product: functional and long lasting, pleasing to the eye, and committed to today’s energy standards.

Practically everything is manufactured by us: sash, jambs, doors, sills, window stools,
casing, glass stops, muntin bars, etc. enabling us to control the quality of every piece.
Virtually no defects are allowed.  Each piece is fully sanded and detailed with the edges only slightly broken, giving a uniquely crisp appearance.

Dedicated to excellence, we always choose the best components for our windows and doors.  From hardware (latches, hinges, sash balances etc.) to weather seals.  Only the best will do.  We are committed to quality, design, function, thoroughness, attention to detail and service.  This defines and gives clarity to our work.

*  Beyond its rich beautiful color and texture, fine grained Douglas Fir is close to ideal for making windows and doors.  With its long straight tight grain, it is very stable and strong, resisting warping, twisting, and rot and decay. It machines nicely and can be detailed and finished to fine furniture grade quality.
